Born in a bookbindery.

In 2011, Philip Bradburn — a master bookbinder with nearly four decades of experience — gave his son-in-law a Kindle for Christmas. Being a bookbinder, he couldn't resist making something special to go with it: a case built like a real hardback book.
The reaction was extraordinary. That single case became the lightbulb moment that launched KleverCase — a family business from the heart of the New Forest, England, now beloved by readers around the world.
- 1976 Philip founds Manor Bindery, specialising in restoration and limited-edition bookbinding.
- 2012 The first KleverCase is born — a handmade book-look cover for a Kindle eReader.
