Iconic Book File - The Neverending Story

Initial ordering was easy, follow up phone call to check on sizing was appreciated. I was notified that the shipment had been sent - again, appreciated. The next day, I was notified that the shipment had been delivered ... except it hadn't.
Things turned south. I reached out to query, using the email address advised on their website and have still haven't had a response. Fed Ex were no better, ignoring the fact that I notified them that it hadn't arrived, to simply respond that it was delivered, sending me a photo of it 'delivered' - sat on a completely random outdoor path ... lord knows where, but not my house. Not even my street!
I found out, a day later, that it had been deposited at an address half a mile away and LEFT sat on an exposed pathway, in time for the downpour that evening.
The occupant of this sheltered housing bungalow, a very elderly lady was horrified to later find this large parcel dumped on her pathway and had no immediate way to rectify it. She very thoughtfully enlisted her (also elderly) brother's help to bring his car from away, to lift the parcel between them and deliver it to me, a day later. She wasn't happy and seemed to think I was at fault and, at her stage in life, I can't blame her.
The contents weren't totally drenched, but were wet, being wrapped in card. The file spines are beautiful (only finished on the very outer edge so be aware if you have open shelving - the rest of the box is very standard). It also doesn't feel terribly strong once full but, in fairness, I'm unsure of whether they are usually like this or if the soaking has lessened the strength. I dried them gently with a dehumidifier and, while they do look nice and neat on display, it was not the experience I wanted. I had planned for these to be the start of my office revamp, but I'd be reluctant to buy more, purely down to the complete lack of customer service from either the company or Fed Ex.
